Beginning at a point in the center of Gardner Avenue extended at its intersection with the Thames River; thence westerly along the center line of Gardner Avenue extended to its intersection with the center line of Pequot Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of Pequot Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Granada Terrace, thence westerly along the center line of Granada Terrace to the center line of Montauk Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Montauk Avenue to Plant Street, thence westerly along the center line of Plant Street to Ocean Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Ocean Avenue to Thames Street, thence westerly along the center line of Thames Street to the New London-Waterford town line, thence southerly along the New London-Waterford town line to the Thames River, thence in a northerly direction along the Thames River to the center line of Gardner Avenue as extended to the Thames River said point being the point and place of beginning. shall be the Third District.
