Summary of Work Experience

Seventeen years developing Macintosh software. I have produced shrink-wrapped commercial software, shareware utilities and in-house tools. The constituent parts include standalone applications, printer- driver resources, initialization resources, hardware drivers and an OpenDoc part. I have worked on teams including library developers, documentation editors, graphic artists, quality-assurance testers and tech-support personnel. I am familiar with the following development tools: Xcode, CodeWarrior (IDE, the Powerplant framework, Constructor), MacForth, Resorcerer, MacsBug, Photoshop, SuperPaint and ColorIt.

iListen Project
MacSpeech
The iListen project a speech recognition program combining both dictation and command and control of the Macintosh. It is based on the Philips speech engine. It is currently at version 1.6.4.

Sprite, Io & MacAtlas Projects
Time Cycles Research
The Sprite project produced 'Star*Sprite', an animated astrological research tool. Star*Sprite supports 'Drag and Drop' and is fully scriptable/recordable. Produced using Xcode & the PowerPlant class framework.

The Io Series of astrological software consists of four programs. Io Edition implements the advanced techniques demanded by professional astrologers. Io Interpreter does interpretations for birth charts, astrological events, pairs of birth charts, medical astrology. They are currently at version 6.0.4.

The MacAtlas^TM is a database of longitude, latitude and time-zone rules.
